Ways to reduce your payments

I've just realised that my sky broadband subscription has risen to an eye watering amount of £172 per month.

Reluctantly, I am looking to move to another provider.

Is there anyone I can contact to discuss this matter directly.

That can't just be for broadband talk so do you have any other services from Sky like Sky TV ?

@Graememar

Sky Broadband and Sky Talk on their own is unlikely to be £172 pm.

Unless you’ve recently changed your subscription, prices go up for either the annual price increase (April in the UK) or when your discounts have ended (or a combination of the two).

Sky will have told you the date any discount was ending when you took it out so if it has ended you’ll be paying the full undiscounted price. Perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

If you’re no longer in a discounted minimum term, or its ending soon the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Re: Ways to reduce your payments

Many thanks for the replies. I sorry if I mislead every one. I do have Sky TV and quite a few addons but I still can't understand how it has come to £172 pm.

I have managed to email a sky expert to see if they can help.

Many thanks again for the replies.

No, you have to contact Sky themselves, directly.  (And not via email)
