Can someone please explain to me what is going on with my bill!!
Unfortunately at the time my bill was due I was having money problems, rang Sky to explain and they weren't overly helpful. Today I've managed to pay £30.24 towards the bill but for some reason I'm in credit. Yet Sky keep trying to take out the total of £48.50 from my account.
Last month they took out 2x £48.50 so technically I didn't need to pay this month but I always like to be a in credit.
Now it's saying I'm in credit but Sky are still trying to take the money out of my account.
Someone help me to understand because it's giving me a massive headache!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis is happening because you shouldn't be making manual payments as there is no need to be in credit as you are overpaying each month. You need to let the credit be used to pay or part pay your bills then let Sky take it automatically from you each month then issues like this will not arise.
Manually paying your bill will not stop Sky taking the payment from your payment method especially if you make this payment to close to your billing date as Sky requests the payment in advance, usually 14 days in advance and once so the payment will be taken even if you keep making manual payments as you have been doing.
