Unable to link Sky ID to account - Credit Card payment

Hi,

 

I recently signed up to Sky Broadband and I've been trying to create and link a Sky ID to my account.  Unfortunately it asks for either an account number or a the last 6 digits of my bank account.  I have not yet received any information that includes an account number, and I signed up using a credit card, not my bank account.

 

I've tried using the last 6 digits of the CC, but this hasn’t worked.

 

Any help would be appreciated,

If you are new to Sky then you have to create a main primary Sky ID as per this:

 

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-id-create-which-sky-id

 

So is this what you are try to do ?

I've created the account however I can't link it.  I end up on the page which says:

Please link your Sky iD to your Sky account to access Account Management

Where you are presented with 2 options:

  1. 12 digit Sky account number
  2. Last 6 digits of the bank account number you use to pay the Sky bill

I haven't received a Sky account number and I've setup my billing using a recuring credit card.  So the issue is I'm unable to link my account.

You you access your billing here as it will show you your account number:

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/bill/

Hey thanks for the quick replies.

 

When I try to go to the billing page it just takes me to the link my sky id page which I mentioned in the previous post, which I can't link because sky has not sent me the account number.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

I joined Sky TV and am unable to login to see Account Management. 

 

I've tried linking the account to my email, but it won't recognise it. 

 

I don't have account number and I used a credit card, entering postcode and credit card digits, it comes back as not recognised.
