Trying to reactivate TV

So my contract ended on Tuesday 7th of January, lost all of my subscriptions and channels on the 8th so went on to chat the same day to resubscribe, as I was told on another forum this would get the best deal.
All good, got a deal I was happy with and resubscribed. They went to reactivate the account and found an issue that they couldn't do it. Been a week now and have been told that it could still be another 3 days! Has anyone here had to deal with this issue before as I'm getting pretty frustrated, along with the moaning from my wife and kids!
