Taking payment despite ending contract

I recently ended my sky broadband contract. I gave the required contract termination notice. I have been unable to speak to anybody.
How do I get

my money back and has anybody escalated this to a small claims court?

that seems a bit OTT - the following bill will generate a credit.  (Assuming you have actually cancelled and had confirmation)

I'm unsure why it's over the top? It's the only recourse should an organisation or other refuse to refund monies owed.
why would I not tell the truth about cancelling my BB within termination period. Odd response but thanks.

When was your last day with Sky as billing does can continue right up to the day you leave so as per above you should then see a credit that you can ask Sky to refund to you.

Ombudsman services?  It doesn't seem they have refused to return a credit (yet)?

I am not questioning your integrity but many posters do not correctly cancel their services (or believe the contract terminates with the minimum term).

As you appear to have done everything correct then the next bill will generate a credit (as billing is monthly in advance, even during your notice period) and assuming your payment method is still active the credit should be returned within 6 weeks.
