Taken money early
Sky sent an email saying that my first bill was due on 17/5 but they have taken it today and not the agreed amount?

Re: Taken money early
Probably because tomorrow is a non-working day - some banks process direct debits early to accommodate it.
Check your bill for the amount you're being charged. Look particularly at whether you 're being charged for more than a standsrd month.

@Edwin61
If you’re a new customer your first couple of bills are usually higher, basically due to the dates they cover (more than the usual number of days). In effect you’ll be charged from the date of the activation up until the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance. Check your future bills to see if they reflect the amount you were expecting. Also see these links
