I'm one month into a two month free trial of Sky Cinema, and I wish to cancel the trial before it becomes fully chargeable in a months time.
I've looked online and on the My Sky app but couldn't find a way to cancel. Have I missed something, or does this mean another 45 minute phone call to Sky?
thanks

You need to contact Sky to reduce any part of your Sky TV package giving the required notice of 31 days.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to a phone number.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link should include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by ringing or writing in.
If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.

I started a 2 month trial of sky cinema today and i was adamant i did not want it if i was going to be automatically billed for the following months. I was told and assured that this would not be the case and that sky would contact me asking if i wanted to continue. On the steength of this i agreed to the trial. It appears i have been misled and i will have to call tomorrow to cancel!
Not a great start to my sky q experience as i had a problem with broadband installation on Wednesday (now sorted). .. Grey screen after turning on tv after installation today (Friday) , q box will not download any programs from catch up or on demand, checked Cinema and that doesnt work for download either and when checking my bill and future bills there is a price increase within 2 months!
Thank goodness for these forums.

Yes, my 2 months trial appears to be continued onward automatically too. Worse than that, the bill shows it's free for month 1, but I've been charged twice for month 2, so check yours carefully. Also, and without being told this, I've also been offered the next 6 months at £6/month instead of £19 (or is it £18).

Rang helpline today. They confirmed an email will be sent a month before end of 2 month trial giving time for 31 day exit.
I've made a note to telephone and cancel a day or two earlier.

That's interesting, and not how Inwas treated by Sky. It appears they've made a mistake with my account, didn't alert me with an option to cancel within 31 days, and charged me twice for Cinema this month. When I phoned I was told they can see there's been a mistake, but couldn't work out how or why it was made.
