Still haven’t received refund
I phoned Sky on the 1st of July to enquire about a refund that is owed to me. My Sky account shows that I am owed credit of £32.91. I was promised by the advisor who took my call that I would receive the refund within 3-5 working days ... fast forward to almost 3 weeks from then and I STILL have not received my refund! I am really cross about the fact that not only has money owed to me from Sky not been refunded in a timely manner but that I was blatantly lied to by the representative. Shockingly poor customer service. When am I getting back the money that you owe me Sky??? No lies this time please.

You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers.
Refunds are apparently taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection.
We can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.
If however your payment method has been cancelled Sky will either have to reinstate your payment method or manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so that will take much longer.
Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply that it’s still showing as a credit on your Sky account and if the payment method is still active.

I have an outstanding credit and am unable to get hold of anyone from sky, it's ridiculous to have to chase to get my money back

Refunds are apparently taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection.
We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and will be for 2-3 weeks. You will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Saying nothing when asked the reason for your call usually helps in getting put in the queue.

The refunding within the normal 6 weeks could be better however by calling in the agent should be able to refund you within 3-5 working days provided your payment method is still active. If it's not Sky will need to get a back office team to raise a cheque and post it to you.
