Sky switch credit …a nightmare

Firdt of all you do not appear to deal with a person, certainly no names. I was told by the Sky salesman if I cancelled early and paid the £100 cancellation fees demanded by BT then Dky would refund. I paid and started paying Sky in October ..just contact Sky Switch credit I was told by customer service. They fire out questions and there is no dialogue...you have to send copies of your bank statement, previous bills and are told they will 'investigate, Then they ask for the same information, do not interact and three months later have not paid. OK I was naive believing sales and customer service but beware SKy Switch Credit ...they are like Brave New World and certainly have no intention of paying you for switching as was promissd

If they are asking for the same information then it might be because what you sent to them they will not accept. So what you do need to email them is a copy of your BT bill where it shows that you have been charged an early termination charge and then also a copy of your bank statement to show that you have paid them, so did the copy of your BT bill you sent include this information ?

Absoloutley true, I am going through the same nonsense, same email over and over again despite evidence..absoloute poor service they should be ashamedFireShot Capture 015 - _ Highlighted etc for sky 14_05_2025.pdf - .png

You are ducking the matter..I do not associate/own with that number no more..do something about the poor service i am experiencing with your switching credit team

So you have sent them an image of where you were charged an early termination fee and it is shown as this and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it ?

No one is ducking anything, merely pointing out that it's unwise to post an image that potentially contains personal information (which means the image will be rejected.

I understand, in my haste and frustration I overlooked this is not a direct to sky employees site...I do not have that number I know have a sky issued one anyhow..its like pulling hen,s teeth communicating with the sky credit switching team by email

So I have not sent them anything relating to my bank account..but I have sent them a detailed pdf & screenshot from VM stating that it has been paid and also a highlighted pdf of the ETC from VM also a set of screencaps between VM chatservice and me  and the whole email in its entireity from VM stating so with all the PDF,s they require..I am working on a screen cap from my banking app but it wont alow me to save/take it for security purposes

Banking apps typically prevent screenshots in order to prevent scammers being able to see/take pictures if they get themselves remote access to a victim's device.

 

You may be better off downloading a bank statement and using that.
