Sky sports complete why do I need ultra hd to watch?

I have recently updated my contract with sky and continue to have sky sports complete package. I am now unable to watch and was told by a sky advisor that to watch sports I have to have ultra hd. I can get it for 4 months free thereafter I have to pay extra £13 ! Unless I ring up and cancel ultra hd just before 4 months up then start another free period, this is crazy I wasn't told this when I renewed my package..... any help please

You don't have to have UHD. You were misinformed.

Sky Sports comes in HD by default so you should be able to view these channels @Dolly1231 so are you not able to ?

As indicated already, that's not correct.

You might want to call them back about this and if they don't relent then I would register a complaint as it doesn't make any sense why you were told that because as explained above you can watch the Sports channels in HD without the need to have the UHD package, you can do this here:

I would submit a complaint.

You do not need UHD - sounds like upselling.
