Sky purchasing advice

Hello

Wondering if I can get some purchasing advice.  I've tried live chat but it was useless.  

currently subscribe to now TV and get sky sports and entertainment.  Wondering if it's better to just move to sky. 

we also subscribe to Netflix and Apple TV plus which we want to keep. 

a lot of our viewing is on iPads / iPhone which again we don't want to lose. 

what are our best options?  Should we stick with now TV / separate Netflix and Apple TV or is there a good option with sky direct?  Glass looks interesting but we have a decent TV already so a set top box would be preferable. 

don't want to install a satellite dish. Would rather keep with our aerial and stream over broadband. 

not interested in sky broadband either. Got a good deal already. 

Thoughts welcome. I find it all quite confusing!

Sky Stream is the only option, other that what you've got now.

No satellite dish and no new TV rules out Sky Q and Sky Glass, leaving only Sky Stream.

Work out what you are paying now for NowTV & Netflix. Then go through the motions of buying Sky Stream:

• The basic Sky Stream Essential TV and Ultimate TV box include the basic Netflix with Ads package.
• You can subscribe to higher Netflix tiers as needed, the tier you choose can be altered each month via the MySky app and pay the extra.
• Netflix included with SKy Stream does not allow for paying for additional viewing profiles for non-household members.
• Sky Go is the equivalent of the Now app on your phones & iPads.
• NowTv does not charge for watching on more than 1 TV, Sky does. If you want Sky Stream on more than one TVm, you'll need to add on the Whole Home add-on.
• Sky Stream is very demanding of both good broadband speeds AND a rock solid WiFi connection wherever the Stream puck boxes are to be used.
• Unlike NowTV where you can subscribe to the TV, cinema and sports packages independently of one another, Sky requires having the basic TV package before you can take cinema and/or sports.
• Sky TV includes adverts whereas the same content on nowTV often doesn't.
• Sky Stream can be taken on either a 24 month contract or a 31 day rolling contract. The 31 day rolling contract allows for cancellation and the adding/removing of cinema & sports on a month by month basis, but the montly cost/prices are slightly higher than the 24 month contract.
• Sky Stream collects all of the content from all the streaming services it supports and presents it on the Home Screen and is searchable. This can sometimes mean if you say search for a film and it is on Disney+ but you don't sibscribe to Disney+, it will still appear in the search results.

Many thanks for your reply - that really helps.

Sounds like I am better off just sticking with my current separate subscriptions to Netflix and Now TV.

Sky Stream looks ok, but would like to be able to view terestrial channels through an arial through the same box.  I hate the Android TV that comes with our Sony TV - it is really poor.  Clunky and buggy.
