With holding payment is the worse thing you can do as Sky will refuse to talk to you and would eventually pass your debt to a debt collection agency which would cause you more hassle and negatively affect your credit score.

As advised by @MarkGoldsmith withholding payment is the worse thing to do and I'm baffled as to why you would think it would resolve anything.
Have you spoken to Sky about any issues? If not why not? They can't know about any issues if you don't tell them.
Even from your post it's not totally clear what the exact issue is.
Perhaps you could try explaining from the start what the issue is and the community may be able to help.
