Sky keeps trying to charge me

Hi guys, new to Sky here and would appreciate some help! Essentially what happened is I have not got a direct debit set up with sky. I pay my bill manually each month, but not using the card that is in my Sky agreement. After I had already paid my bill for September Sky keeps trying to charge the card from the agreement and says that I am late with my payment, however when I go to my bills it says it has been paid. Is it possible to get a Sky employee to look at this as I don't want to get a late payment notice etc? Thank you in advance

@DianaM00  If you have to make manual payments then the full amount has to be showing as credit on your sky account at least 7 working days before payment due date to prevent the automatic process from kicking in

it is far better to let the automatic process take the payment otherwise you can end up on the same situation every month

you can either leave the overpayment to be used against future bills or we can ask the messaging team to contact you but you must allow the payment to be taken first

Sky require you either to pay by direct debit or by automated monthly card payments, as you agreed when you signed up. Making manual payments will cause this sort of problem I'm afraid.
