Sky, Netflix and discovery plus offer

Hey. Just joined sky. And it says when I click on my rewards free movie for joining. I click on see my rewards and it puts me straight back to the same page. My question is do you need to have the box etc before redeeming that offer? Also I already pay for Netflix so does it automatically change over. Thank you 😊

If you are  already  paying  for Netflix  and you  are now  having  it as part of your  sky subscription, you will need  to contact  Netflix  yourself  an cancel  your  account  with them or you  could end up  paying  for  Netflix  twice  a month

Thats not true at all, there should be no need to contact Netflix.

 

@stelliosbrown23 Once your sky device arrives, you just need to follow the steps here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-using-netflix. These steps will guide you through linking your Sky and Netflix accounts together. The linking process allows you to keep your exisitng Netflix account and what happens is that Netflix are informed that the billing of the account is handled by Sky, so Netflix will stop billing you for that account.

Why he other people  posted on here about paying  sky for  Netflix  and still paying  Netflix  aswell  in the past that i have seen ?

Typically because they haven't signed into the Netflix app on a Sky device using the same Netflix account credentials to actually trigger the switch of billing.
