Sky Entertainment & Ultimate on Demand

Hi and thank you in advance,

I am currently exploring my options with Sky to reduce my bill which will be going up to £220 in April, I have spoken to other companies, VM have quoted £130 for the same options but my preference would be to stay with Sky who I have been with for 20+ years.

Are the 'Sky Entertainment' and 'Ultimate on Demand' still in existence? I was researching new customer prices but could not find them, I will be paying £19.65 & £12.00 for these and wondered if there was a new package which covered them in one like the Sky Ultimate TV Package?

The other thing is Sky Talk Anytime Extra, are you allowed to downgrade this to something else? I am paying £17.00 for this but I do not use the home phone, only ever use my mobile.

How likely are Sky to make me any offers on the other stuff like Kids, Sky Sports and TNT? and also why do Sky still charge me to view stuff in HD, ridiculous that is!

Thank you for any advice in advance.

The Entertainment sub is long gone.  The latest base package is Signature.

You can add NetFlix via Sky if you wish.

Just bear in mind you're not a new customer so you may find any offer disappointing.  (VM will be offering you a new customer discount which will also evaporate).

I wouldn't get excited about HD charging - it's the total price that matters.  Ultimately, you'll have to call Sky to negotiate a package - or give notice to leave...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Yes, you can. If you don't use your landline phone, the best package for you would be the Pay as you Talk package which has no monthly subscription. You just pay (a lot) for calls you make. So no calls, no cost.
