Why do I have Sky Cinema when I didn't ask for it and have tried to cancel it on more than one occasion ?

Apologies if I didn't reply to this previously.
I eventually spoke to someone at Sky to ask why I was still receiving Sky Cinema. He apologised and confirmed that my file indicated that I had called twice before to cancel. So on this occasion, he promised to cancel the access and refund me for the previous months which is a satisfactory outcome if it proves to be.

Re: Sky Cinema still accessible
Any cancellation comes with a 31 day notice period. How did you cancel it?

Thanks for the swift response, Daniel.
Verbally. Twice by phone but I also explained to engineer on day of installation that it was not required.

Re: Sky Cinema still accessible
If the 31 day notice period has now ended you'll need to contact Sky again.

As a new customer you probably are not aware how bad sky customer service is. Generally the agent just tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone
