Sky Bill

We want to re-negotiate our sky contract, currently paying £118.99 a month and my husband has had a look and and if we were new customers the fee would be £86 a month for the same package.

@Gemm71 You will have to call Sky to try an negotiate a new deal, the community here is mainly a customer to customer support platform and rthe few Sky staff here cannot offer deals/discounts.

But you're not a new customer.   The best deals are usually given to new customers to attract switching.

It is unlikely you'll be able to negotiate a price that beats or equals that price.  YMMV.

@Gemm71

Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join. Most providers now do this. You'll probably benefited from such offers in the past.

If your discounts have ended and you choose to leave and go with another provider then in 18/24 months you'll probably be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer and gain whatever benefits are available at that time.
