Setting up a new Broadband account after switching from Sky to Now.

So I have recently cancelled my Sky TV and Broadband and gone for a NOW Broiadband deal, much cheaper that what Sky was offering  me to stay. However, Now broadband is run by Sky but I am unable to set up a new Sky Broadband account as my email address is the same one as the old Sky account. Whenever I try to do so it defaults to my old sky account. I need to be able to set up a new account with my new account number urgently as I am overdue the next payment. Can someone help please?

Probably simplest to use a different email address?

Try logging into your Sky account and removing the email address from it, you might need ti supply another one but as this is a closed account it doesn't matter what you enter in it's place. The other way around this is to use a different email address when setting up your NOW account.

Thanks Mark. If only it was that simple. When i signed up with Now/Sky I gave them my email address so its effectively already registered with that. I think I'm resigned to calling them tomorrow and after a long wait on hold .....melting someones brain as they try to resolve it. I doubt they have an easy fix!
