how long does it take for sky to reconnect you after paying the bill please?

If your services were suspended then as well as paying the bill you will need to setup (or set it up again) your monthly payment method. If you have done this then you will now have to wait until the payment you made has been cleared by the banks so might not happen until Monday at the earliest.
