Scam calls from sky promotions??

And me. Had two calls from landline numbers with Clacton & Reading codes.
Lost interest when I wouldn't give my email address.

This is still happening January 2026. I was called yesterday offering a 50% discount to my Sky TV. If I logged into Sky and purchased an iPad. I questioned the operator with a very strong Indian accent. Could you verify that he was from Sky with my Sky custom ID he was not able to provide this got abusive. I told him I was reported this to the authorities. I checked with Sky immediately they were very helpful. Customer services confirmed that there are no offers for free iPads. They verified with a correct email address -email sent from the scammers diverted to spam. Do not give out information email or address or account details to Sky over the phone they will only contact you by email with Offers.

As I commented in a recent thread, there isn't anywhere near enough profit margin on a subscription to give away Apple hardware even before a substantial (bogus) discount....

This person has come on here to help people like me who have had a suspect conversation with someone claiming to be from SKY. This thread has come up when I Googled 'Sky promotion scams'. You should not be repremanding people for trying to help

If you use the @ symbol followed by the name of the person you're replying to, for example @Simon392 it makes the thread a bit easier to follow.

It's happen to me today, they sent 40% discount email with free gift, in the following from sky-promotionuk.com and tried to guaid claim reward gift at £34/m for 48month, but saying use the reference below would be free of charge

I just received a cll from "Sky" on a mobile nr offering me a 30% discount on my Sky bill. When I challenged the caller on why he was calling from a mobile nr he hung up. Clearly a scam.

This is ongoing with me at the moment. Im leading them on to see if I can get any more info. The phone number doesn't resolve to anything I can find but the email address seems to belong to sky.
