My query sound similar to : Answered: Scam calls from sky promotions?? | Sky Community
BUT - I had a phone call from:
(removed)
of which stated he was from sky, gave me code and kept asking if I was able to see my wifes mobile for confirmation (number linked to account) or her email (again one on account) - Odd thing was they knew her phone number?
I assume it is a scam call as articles read majority of numbers for actual people are 0300
Moderator note: Removed phone number.

Usually calls are made via an automatic dialler, which just dials every number in a block in the hope that one or more is answered. The scammer doesn't know who you are or even your number.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes it's a scam. What's concerning is that they were asking you to read out a code which suggests they have your account details but due to 2fa they couldn't access it so wanted the code which 2fa sent to your phone in order to fully access the account. Did they read a code to you or did they ask if a code had been received?
