Same problem, f

First the sales team avoid telling you how sky switch works ie you pay first and then refunded, 2 they told me i would be refunded directly to my bank account not a credit to my sky account, 3 have paid talk talk bill contacted sky switch sent paid bill acount details and my details 14 day's later called sky customer service found out beyond thier control can't do anything on the 16th day received request to resend all my details again did so called customer services found out you cannot call, email or sms skyswitch nor can they spoke to solicitor friend re options put in offical complaint and confirm ref number 2nd freeze direct debit put payments in escrow solicitors account  titled sky account

@Mo87 submitting a complaint is the right way to go. Stopping your direct debit isn't and won't achieve anything useful.

 

Generally if Sky ask for resubmission, there's an issue with the documentation you've provided.

Generally if Sky ask for resubmission, there's an issue with the documentation you've provided.

Hi Mark completely agree do not cancel dd re direct your monthly payments to a solicitors account under their name covers you. I have also spoken to Panarama reporter who is interested in looking into skyswitch also contacted  media ombudsman in London who act on your behalf as a watch oversear also contact local newspaper this is a scam

Perhaps ask your solicitor friend their views on the advisability of making such accusations, particularly against giant companies who retain buildings full of lawyers.

 

The mechanism for Switch Credit is clearly laid out here:

Escrow payment won't stop Sky legitimately suspending service and ceasing all communication once a debt is accrued.

Not sure what you have sent as this is what they require

 

You must provide a copy of the bill from Talk Talk where you have been charged an early termination fee and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - switching credit @sky.uk (all one word without the gap).

Hi Timmy do not be scared check consumer credit act 1974 as for escrow covers you in legal aspect worked with lawyers before wouldn't touch this with a barge poll stick to facts keep a track of all comms with sky switch witch you know have no direct contact details question 1 why question 2 why cant sky customer service contact skyswitch

Further more timmy why do the sales team not explain exactly how it works and I asked sevrel times have the conversation on remember as soon as I spoke to sales person about transferring to sky from talk talk. Talk talk sent sms with in 3 minutes so they can easily confirm i have paid my bill irrespective of this Timmy sent sky switch pdf of bill plus my bank statement waited 14 days no response on the 15th day sky switch requested the same details re sent same again received same email yesterday 3rd time spoke to customer service they repeated they are not allowed to contact skyswitch if thats your understanding of how to run a multi million pound business sorry mate wont accept this **bleep**

Sky won't pay your claim if the TalkTalk final bill doesn't specifically show the termination fees.
