SKY Return Packaging too small

I have received the cardboard packaging from SKY to return my SKY Q box - however, the packaging received is smaller than the SKY box!!

I have sent a photo to SKY to ask that they send larger packaging but I have received no reply

Anybody else had the same issue?

@Pooyan

Did you cancel broadband as well? If you did the packaging for the hub will arrive first as the notice period is only 14 days, and that packaging is smaller.

As @MightyQuinn has stated you can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you may want to put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. This link explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.

Keep your proof of posting safe and indefinitely and if you use Royal Mail’s collect from home service, keep a record of the tracking number.

Hi @Pooyan   You can use your own packaging. Just out of interest, how did you send a photo to Sky?

Re: SKY Return Packaging too small

Hi (and Mighty 😄)

I took a photo on my iPhone, sent an email to SKY customer help, and added the photo as an attachment showing that the box was bigger than the packaging.

Thanks for this - I'll try to find my own box

Hi @Pooyan

The reason I asked is that Sky don't use email as a method of inbound communication.
