Renewal options complicated

My existing contract expires next week.  Although I have an offer for renewal for tow years, I want to add Sky Cinema for £9 per month as another off I have.  I cannot fathom whether I can inlcude this offer as part of the renewal; if I click on the Cinema offer, it autmatically recontracts me for two years, but doesn't tell me whether the two years is the same price as my renewal offer.

The whole renewal system seems to be a mess, it is difficult to understand what exactly I am agreeing to.  I also have an offer to convert to Fibre, which I would like to do, but again, I cannot link it to my renewal offer, and don't know if the offer will still be there if I renew and then try to add it.

I would ring up, but you end up speaking to someone who barely speaks english, and we both end up struggling to understand what each other are saying.

Does anyone know if my Cinema offer will still be there if I renew online and then try to add it afterwards?

It is advisable callimg Sky and asking them about this.

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

Re: Renewal options complicated

Or what I might do is take a screenshot of the offer, renew my contract, and if the offer is no longer there, make an official complaint.

I might leave the broadband until later in the year. I cannot be doing with the stress of trying to explain to someone who speaks English as a second language what the issue is.

Re: Renewal options complicated

And another question. My renewal says I'll be getting Netflix Basic. If I upgrade in a few weeks time (when I intend to get a new telly) to HD, do I get the better version of Netflix, even though I'll already have started a new contract?

The Q&As aren't very clear on this.

Netflix Basic doesn't exist anymore.

Standard with Ads, it what is included at no extra cost with a Sky subcsription, and you have the option to upgrade to Standard without Ads or Premium.

The difference between the Netflix tiers can be found here: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/24926

Re: Renewal options complicated

Thanks.

So, if i renew with the standard package now, can I upgrade at a future date to HD, with a better Netflix package?

Standard With Ads is in HD.

No one can really answer what the better Netflix package is and it completely depends on an individuals requirements and what they deem value for money.

Re: Renewal options complicated

That's not what I asked. If I upgrade to HD, do I get Netflix without ads? And can I upgrade to HD mid-contract?

Adding HD has absolutely no bearing on which Netflix tier you have.

Re: Renewal options complicated

I must have misunderstood what it said. The website is a complete mess, its impossible to know what you're signing up to.

So, could I sign up to HD mid-contract?

Can I upgrade to Fibre mid-contract?

Re: Renewal options complicated

Thanks for the response. Much easier than trying to work it out from Sky's website
