Hi,
I cancelled my Sky broadband and switched provider on the last day of my contract (13th Dec). However Ive been charged for December - January the no contract rate. I can see that this will be returned in January as credit. How can I get this credit refunded to my bank account. I don't use any other Sky services so credit is useless.
Thanks

If your payment method is still active (used to pay Sky) refunds usually take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. If your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque, usually involving a back office team, and post it to you so it’ll take longer.
If you wish we can try to help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but please confirm in your reply it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

What date are you usually billed on in January as you might need to wait until nearer the time before it can be refunded.

Hi both,
My billing date is 13th of each month and it says on the 13th January I'll be given credit for cancellation. I guess the payment method should still be active. It would be great if the refund could be sped up to 3-5 working days.
Thank you!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTo see if they can refund this to you now I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
If they can't do this just yet (they will tell you if they can not) you will have to post back on here on the 13th January.

Hi,
I also cancelled my Sky broadband and switched provider on the 13th Dec and am awaiting a refund. I can also see that this will be returned in January as credit. How can I get this credit refunded to my bank account. I don't use any other Sky services so credit is useless to me as well.
Thanks
