Refund of Credit Balance on a Closed Account

Hi 

 

I'd be grateful if you could advise if there is a form to complete to request a refund on a closed account

 

Searching the forums it seems as if the methodology is an escalation to the Sky Team and then through the chat bubble

 

The account was closed approximately 3 or 4 months ago when I transferred to another provider and there is a credit balance of approximately £48 on my account. There is no payment method live, so would require eiter a cheque or manual transfer

There is no 'form' you can complete.

 

Other than calling Sky if your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so it’ll take even longer.

If the payment method has been cancelled
you have two options…
1) you can call Sky to get a cheque raised or
2) we can escalate to the Messaging Team who can re-set your payment method.

Thanks for the quick response, much apprecaited, option 2 is good for me

To see if they can help you I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

We would normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team, but unfortunately the process is currently switched off but should hopefully be available again sometime this week. You can perhaps contact Sky by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in. .

Alternatively post back on this thread later this week or next week and we may be able to help you further.
