I already had access to Paramount+ however after I changed my sky subscription when I access Paramount+ the only option is to pay monthly subscription price of €7.99. I still have Sky Cinema subscription so I thought this should be free

Have you created your Paramount account as per this:

Then signed into the app with your new account ?
