... . just spent nearly 2 hours with Apple customer services to sort this .. but no. For me it fails when press 'confirm' on page subscription as 7 days free then 6 months for zero, then 8.99 from then - Asks to authenticate my payment via zero payment .. press 'ok' then after txt one time pin say connecting.. but never does -  updates from there. .. got apple music and also didn't have mastercard in available payment options so added ... now not asking my bank to send a one-time-request 6 digit pin but still end with itunes.apple.com/deeplink continually saying 'connecting..." but never does

I don't know if they can help but it might be worth calling Sky to see if they can. 150 is the free number to use from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

if the connecting message is getting stuck on the Apple part certainly looks like an Apple issue.

 

have you tried clear browser cache and cookies as well before trying and also if you are using any sort of vpn try turning that off as well
