Re: Charges despite returning equipment

I am having the same issues. Left sky giving correct notice and returned all the kit. Got email stating I owed money for unreturned item. I phoned and spoke to someone who checked everything and said all was okay and that I had returned everything and that she would make a bot on the account and I wouldn't get any other emails and if I did to just ignore them. Today I just got a threatening email to say that I woed money for the unreturned item and if I did t pay they would contact a debt collection company! I have did everything they asked and returned all the items yet they are threatening me and won't stop harassing me with emails.

This is surely unlawful.

@Cozzy
Have you kept your proof of posting?

It’s Unipart that deal with returns and they are taking a number of weeks to process equipment at their warehouse. Let us know in this thread about the proof of posting and we can maybe get you some help from the Messaging Team.

If you have the proof it should be a fairly straightforward process. If you haven’t retained it, any cancellation of non return fees would be at Skys discretion.

Please don’t try to post an image of the Royal Mail tracking or postal receipt as Sky don’t like them on the forum.

Re: Charges despite returning equipment

Hi. I had proof of posting and may still have it somewhere. But I gave the Royal Mail details to the lady on the phone at sky and she checked and confirmed they had received the return. I posted all the equipment I was given together in the one return. Yet I am being told I haven't returned one mini box. So I find it hard to comprehend that saying that all the items were put in the box. I have a photo of the items in the box before sending.

I was told by a member of sky when I phoned about this after receiving the first email that it was an error and that she would cancel it and to ignore any further requests as they would be automated. But I don't want to take the risk of being referred to a debt collection agency.

thanks

@Cozzy

Do you have the proof of posting or at the very least an email from Sky for thanking you for returning the equipment ?

Re: Charges despite returning equipment

Yes I have proof of posting as it was royal mail collected at my address and tracked to destination. So have the emails from royal mail with ref number

@Cozzy

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
