Re: Payment
This isn't the way to pay your bills as you shouldn't be making manual payments as you should have either a credit/debit card or a direct debit so Sky can take it automatically from you each month meaning you will never have to make these manual payments.
Regarding this bill, what has actually happened, if there is credit on the account before the bill had been created then it should have used it so has this not happened ?

@Danwright2025
You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here. If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community which is made up predominantly of Sky customers helping other Sky customers which includes additional help from customers who are Superusers like @caesarome and myself.
Any manual payment was unnecessary and has correctly gone as a credit on your Sky account (to be used on your next bill), and then if the planned payment Sky try to take fails your services stand the risk of being restricted.
Best to let the Direct Debit or continuous card payment you have set up (as per the T's and C's) do the transaction Sky will be expecting.

Re: Payment
@Danwright2025 your £30 payment was too late, I'm afraid.
To be taken account of, a manual payment needs to be on your Sky account at the time your bill is generated.
That's two weeks before payment is due. If you make a payment after that, it goes against your next bill.
Best not to make manual payments at all to avoid this sort of problem.
