Payment taken twice

Hi there my bill was overdue so i paid it today to bring my account up to date of £79.30 ..then 10 minutes later sky took the payment again of £79.30 which is showing as credit on my account the only problem is the over payment has made my funds short for other bills so i would like the payment to be refunded to my account to which id be very grateful i now know that its best not to make manual payments but sky did say they would try and take it again in the nezt few days, or i could pay manually to bring my account up to date just unfortunate they took it straight after i had just paid it  .kind regards

@Dollydoo  I'm afraid by making a manual payment you've followed an incorrect process. 

 

If a payment fails Sky normally try again 10 days later and unless specifically asked by Sky to do so you should never make any manual payment.

 

You will need to call Sky to request a refund.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
