Have your services been restricted because if they haven't then you shouldn't need to make a manual payment as you should have a payment method setup on your account like a credit/debit card or a direct debit so do you have either of these in place ?

It was saying " We’ve been unable to collect payment for your latest bill using the payment details you’ve given us." Is this just a generic email sent?

How do you normally pay… direct debit or continuous card payment. If you haven't changed your normal payment method are you sure the email is really from Sky?
