Pausing broadband use

After my long term relationship ended, I am moving in with a friend until I can find my own place. I am the named person on my tv/ broadband contract. I am happy with my contract and would like to continue it, if possible.

Cancelling will prove very expensive, as I only joined a few months ago.

Would me continuing to pay whilst waiting for my own place be an option? I'll have to bring my equipment with me, in that case, leaving the property without WiFi.

@EmCharles  Without cancelling continuing to pay would be the only option however that brings with it its own problems if the friend already has there own Sky account if they do you won't be able to use your services until you moved to your own property

as for broadband it's not has simple you would have to transfer your services to keep it going so you may have to leave that at current address until you are in your own property

Re: Pausing broadband use

Thank you,

I'll speak to my exes mother, she may be more willing to help me. I'm hoping to have my own place by September, so maybe she'll be OK with waiting until then.

I'm really happy in my contract, so cancelling doesn't make sense either.

@EmCharles  When you do transfer services make sure to use Skys home move service especially when it comes to broadband
