If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. Once the direct debit is successfully processed a credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid. This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would recommend not making manual payments unless requested to by Sky.
However, if you prefer, once your extra payment is showing as a credit we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 working days) through the Messaging Team. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that having confirmed it’s showing as a credit.

As you have a direct debit or card payment set up you should never need to make a manual payment as you have done. What will happen now is a credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid and this will be used to pay your next bill so on that bill no money will be taken from your account.
Sky will take your payment from your usual payment method as you might have made this manual payment to close to the date so it is to late to stop this from happening.
If you want the overpayment returned does the credit appear on your account because if it does we can arrange some help via here for you if you want ?

Hi I paid my bill manually and now the direct debit keeps trying to take it out too how do I sort this
Simple solution, don't make manual payments when you have a direct debit setup as this is what happens. Is there a reason you made a manual payment?
