This month i had both my direct debits declined as i hold the bulk of my money in a separate account, as this happened i then paid for both my streaming bill and my wifi through the app, yet both debits came out two days later, i need the money for this month and not as credit and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to get this refunded?

Does the amount now show as a credit on your account?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou went about that all wrong. If you have a Direct Debit set up and the payment fails on the normal payment date Sky will automatically attempt it again 10 calendar days later (so DO NOT be tempted to make a manual payment in this period).
If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. If you prefer, once your extra payment is showing as a credit, we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 working days) through the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that having confirmed it’s now showing as a credit.

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.
When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts
