Over charged

I have been charged a monthly fee today and my sky broadband has been cancelled since 21.7.25

Your bill for today's payment would have been produced on 11 July, before your service ended. You will of course be reimbursed for any charges after 21 July. Once your Sky account shows a credit for the amount due to you, we can arrange for you to speak to Sky's messaging team to request a refund to your bank or card.

I'm in the same boat. They continued to take payments for my broadband and mobile contracts.

How did you cancel these two subscriptions? Did you receive an email or emails from Sky acknowledging the cancellations?

Yes it's confirmed as cancelled. The overpaid amount shows in my bills section and it says it will go on future bills. Which clearly I won't have as I don't have sky subscriptions anymore

Refunds are apparently taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection.

We can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

If however your payment method has been cancelled Sky will either have to reinstate your payment method or manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so that will take much longer.

Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm if the payment method is still active.

I cancelled the direct debits as I simply couldn't affford more unexpected payments to come out of my account

@SimonHeritage if you reinstate it Sky can make, a refund within 5 days, on request. If you don't, Sky will be unable to refund the payment to your bank and will have to raise a cheque which is likely to take several weeks.

I just wanna cancel it because I'm tired with the Sky all the time I got overcharged which is not right. I agree with them a payment and every month I get overl  overcharged
