Not sure if this is real or not
So yesterday I received a phone call from someone who said that sky was going to reduce my bill to £67.00 per month and give me a free iPad for being a loyal customer. I was asked to go to the my sky app and they asked me to share my screen with them I absolutely said no way so they phoned me back and then I chose the iPad that I wanted and they said it would be sent out for delivery today. So today I received the iPad and was setting it up and then I got a phone call from them saying that I received the wrong iPad and had to send it back within 2 hours. I then received a bar code that had to be scanned in by the lady at the post office and I had to take a photo of my receipt and send it to them. They then phoned me this afternoon saying I had to do it over again but this time I had to order a phone in order to get the iPad that they should have sent me in the first place. After much consideration I decided to go ahead again and they said the first time I had to choose the iPhone 17 that I did they did not say what colour it need to be but they said I had to have the 1gb version. After paying the upfront fee again they told me I had chosen the wrong colour and it had to be the blue one so I had to pay the upfront fee again so now I'm £36.00 out of pocket. After a discussion with a man from sky they told me that my bill will not be reduced and that I will receive a phone and not a iPad as a iPad is not on the order to be shipped out. I need someone to tell me what I can do in order to get my money back as I'm not going to use the phones that I'm going to be receiving as I'm already under contract with another mobile provider. Or does this sound like a scam

Did you return the device(s)? If you followed the instructions they gave then you've 'returned' them to the scammers and you have the bill.

Re: Not sure if this is real or not
Yes I did return but now I've got two phones on the way coming tomorrow. If I get them I'll return them to sky as I don't need them. Hopefully I'll get a refund of my money.

Re: Not sure if this is real or not
If you haven't already you need to change your account password:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/
And also you might want to think about setting up 2FA authentication on it so if you do make sure you enter your correct number and that you also make a note of and keep safe of the recovery code.
When returning these devices to Sky, only you must do this so should any couriers turn up at your home, do not give them to these as this will be how the scammers get hold of them.

Re: I’ve been charged £27.00 for sky news
I have moved your post to the thread you had already started.
Has this payment been taken from your bank account, if so you need to report this to them.

Re: Not sure if this is real or not
Sky can't do anything if scammers have got hold of your financial details which is why you need to report this to your bank.

Sounds like you sent them to the scammers?
The only proper return address is given in the link from post #2.

You've given them access to your Sky account hence they ordered the devices, your Sky account holds your payment details so that is how Sky will take payment.
