New here, need advice concerning Sky refund

Hi, So sorry if these questions are a bit daft but could anyone tell me if, 1) when you leave current provider to join sky, does the waiting time for the refund they promised start from when you requested refund or when you get confirmation that the refund has been approved? 2)where would I find details that the refund has gone through.? Like I said sorry if these questions are a bit daft. Many thanks for any help given. Best Wishes GRS54

Sky doesn't pay any fees you might have from your previous supplier but you can claim up to £100 for TV and £100 in broadband credit, this explains what to do:

You must provide a copy of the bill from your previous supplier where you have been charged and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - switching credit @Sky.uk (all one word without the gap)

@Grs1954  You post title says concerning Sky refund, yet your post states refund from previous provider, so which is it?

Hi sorry for the confusion I'm talking about the refund of cancellation fees we were charged by our previous provider that Sky said they'd refund.

Re: New here, need advice concerning Sky refund

Hi, Sorry for causing so much confusion, I'm not used to the terminology Sky has. I'm talking about the switching credit offer, I've had the notification that it has been approved and credited to my account but I'm just not sure how long it takes to show up in my account or where I can find it. Again sorry for the confusion

@Grs1954  Claims normally take 14 days to process you should get an email when it's done.
