Sky has never permitted customer-initiated installation of apps on any of its hardware: there's no concept of an app store or optional add-ons available to download.
This is partly because as a subscription platform Sky is required to provide support for every app (including expensive calls centres) and the authors of small scale apps could not afford to contribute to that cost.
NFN itself lists the devices which can host its app.
