Need an engineer

I call sky Saturday morning as have no signal said the could not get an engineer out as system was down called again today and told me the same so a company that is in the technical industry that can't get a hold of an engineer amazed me so don't no how long will need to wait as they told me nothing can de done shocking service.

It could be weeks.

 

You may wish to see if a local firm can do it quicker (for a charge of course).

 

Sky may consider a credit once your service is restored.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Yours is the first post I've seen on here suggesting this. 

What issue are you having so we know whether it's a Sky engineer or a broadband engineer that's required?

As @PandJ2020 has correctly pointed out, due to the two recent storms the wait for an actual engineer is likely to be lengthy I'm afraid.

A couple of Facebook posts in my local town suggest that the current wait time for a Sky satellite engineer is 4-5 weeks, the storm hit hard here last weekend.
