Moving to to new provider
I'm moving company tomorrow. I am out of contract with Sky. Does the new provider tell Sky or do I?

Re: Moving to to new provider
A new ISP would inform Sky of a switch of broadband. That won't happen for subscription television service even if the same ISP also offers television: you need to cancel Sky TV yourself.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Moving to to new provider
For TV you have to give 31 days notice - so you'll have to pay for the overlap with the new provider. (As noted only you can give notice to cancel)
For Broadband you have to give 14 days notice - be aware that your new provider may not be able to give the necessary notice to Sky.
