Hi there, I currently have a sky plus box and only use sky for the planner and recording facilities. I am moving home shortly to a new build house and wondering what I will need to do for the move. I don't really want to get a sky dish installed at new house or to upgrade my package, thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm not sure if Sky still do home moves for Sky+ anyway as they no longer support Sky+ or Sky+HD. If you don't want a dish at your new address (or a dish isn't permitted by the developers) your alternatives via Sky are limited to Sky Glass or Stream but research both thoroughly as they are a totally different set up.

Unfortunately that's a complete contradiction: Sky+ cannot operate without a dish, and any move to a different product is an upgrade.

Hi I live in Dublin. I'm moving house for 8 months and want to move my sky broadband & tv package. How do I do this? Thanks, Kevin

You'll have to call Sky (Ireland) to arrange a home move for your services. If you have Sky+ then I don't believe they will move this.
