Moved house now bill has changed
hi,
I moved house on the 31st may at my old house I was on sky broadband ultrafast 1 which I used to pay £30 a month. My WiFi has just been activated at my new house (9.6.25) and sky have changed my plan to sky full fibre 150 without asking me till I've checked my account today my new bill each month now is £36? Is sky aloud to change my plan without me asking my plan wasn't going to end on the sky ultra fast until October 2025.

Re: Moved house now bill has changed
When you move house as your broadband contract has to be cancelled at your old address and a new one started at your new property this might explain why you have seen this small increase, to see if they will offer you a reduction on it you could try calling them.

Re: Moved house now bill has changed
No they can't change your package just because you've moved, and certainly not if you weren't advised of this first. If what you had at your previous address is available at your new, then they should just set it up as before. Try and contact them get this sorted, if they're not helpful put in a complaint. If they have set up a new contract you may still be in your cooling off period, that means you can cancel and go elsewhere for your BB.
