I want to cancel my sky services as it is no longer affordable. As I have an outstanding bill it won't allow me to speak to an agent and keeps asking for the outstanding amount to be settled but I'm unable to do this. My services have been restricted now for 2 weeks so why should I still be getting charged for something I no longer has use of? Can't get through to speak to any agent on various numbers I've tried. Very frustrating!! Can anyone provide a number specifically to speak to an agent to cancel? I've been with sky for 20 years

so all you can do is clear the debt and setup a new continuous payment method which will then allow you to speak to an advisor to cancel

...because that's the terms you agreed in the contract.
Unfortunately you have two choices.:
1. Pay the outstanding balance and then give notice to cancel.
2. Do not pay the outstanding balance and you will incur fees and eventually debt collection processes.
You can try calling Sky from a number they don't recognize or possibly via the 141 prefix. But they may only confirm the above.

When you services are restricted billing obligations don't stop. As you are now two weeks in arrears you'll have to pay what you owe and next months bill as well. You'll have to set up a new continuous payment method and wait for the payment to reach Skys account before services are reinstated. Then (providing you're not in a minimum term deal), Sky will talk to you about cancelling.
