Hi
Could someone escalate me for my last bill refund after leaving Broadband. I've waited 2 months and it hasn't gone through automatically.
Thanks

@smalltown2k
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and staff from their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you later or tomorrow.
Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

Re: Last Bill Refund
@smalltown2k
Refunds after cancelling a subscription should normally take about 6 weeks from the last day of connection, but posts on here suggest it’s taking longer ~ Note: (additionally what would have been the next payment date has to have passed).
We can potentially help you get it refunded within 3-5 WORKING days via staff from the Community Messaging Team on here.
Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm that:
▪️the credit is still showing on your Sky account, and
▪️your payment method is still active.
If you’ve already cancelled your payment method Sky can either reinstate it, or get a back office team to raise a cheque to post to you but that obviously takes a lot longer.

Re: Last Bill Refund
Hi
Disconnect was on 9th July but I saw other posts on here about these timescales(!) so I left it until now. 7th August and now 7th Spetember payment dates have passed without refund.
£37.42 "Credit goes towards paying your next bill(s)" still shows on my account. I didn't cancel my DD as I assumed that would be used to push the refund back.
Cheers

Yes, please, I would like you to escalate it to the community messaging team. What would have been the next payment date has now passed and my payment method is still active.

Re: Last Bill Refund
To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
