Joint Account

I'm looking to set up a Sky package for my dad, but I'll be taking over the admin of all his bills soon. Is there a way to have himself as the main account holder, but let me have access to any decisions that may need doing / make me the main point of contact? I can't seem to find any pre-contact infomation for non-customers. Thanks.

@Marcus4  Sky doesn't permit joint accounts so your father would have to be the account holder

he would then be able to setup a telephone access password once the account is up and service working allowing you to do most action on his behalf with the primary exception being cancellation which only your father would be able to do

@Marcus4

Sky don't allow joint account holders. You haven't said whether you have any power of attorney set up.

You could let your father join as the account holder and the payments can be made by either your Dad or you (but only via a direct debit or a continuous card payment). Sky would set up a telephone password with your Dad for when he contacts Sky and as long as you know this password too you can do most things for him but you wouldn't be able to cancel any part of the subscription.

Similar situation with my self , I am the account holder but I am getting on in years, my daughter has sorted out power of attorney for me for when it becomes necessary under those circumstances will Sky talk to her when the time comes?

@DaveDrizen yes they will speak to your daughter, she will have to register the POA with the sky accessibility team when the time comes
