Introduce a friend credit card

Is the a time limit on a Introduce a Friend rewards credit card ... I was issued one June 2021 and went to use it today and it was declined?

Not sure about Sky in particular, but yes, there's typically a limit on such things which may be as short as six months, and you're now well over a year.

Incidentally there's often a much shorter time limit to activate the card.  It's almost as if they hope lots of people end up not using them...

@PeskyPete  It wouldn't be sky you would hassle, it would be tge card issuer edenred see link above

well I got the answer .... 

 

Thank you for you for your enquiry.

 

The card good to use the funds until expiry,  which was 31/07/22.  The card is invalid now.  We would not be able to reissue the card.

Same problem has happened to me. 

I saved the awards card for a rainy day only to discover at the till that the card had expired.   First contact to resolve was to Sky who said it was for Edenred to resolve.  Edenred advisor said Sky must re-issue the card and when Sky was contacted again I have been told they can't re-issue - it must be done by Edenred!  Catch 22.   What has happened to the 75.00 reward?
