If you have an outstanding bill it needs to be paid whether or not you're able to upgrade.

If you're behind on TV service payments now, Sky may also feel you're a poor risk to make payments on a credit agreement for a phone.

The only way to find out for sure if to place an upgrade order to see if you will pass the credit check that takes place.
