I recently switched my services from Sky to BTTV with promises of improved services, unfortunately I haven't received this and would like to return to Sky. But I'm struggling to pay the outstanding bill on my account and would really like to speak to someone from Sky. Calling on the phone is not really an option for me as I have severe anxiety on the phone and I don't know what I can do.

if sky I'm surprised you were able to cancel in the first place as sky won't allow cancellation on accounts in arrears
you would have to speak to sky directly and given your circumstances the accessibility team might be able to help if you register with them first as they have not n verbal communication methods available via this route

Find out moreI'm not sure if you will be able to do this seeing as you are not a current Sky customer but you could check to see if you can get registered with their Accessibilty team because there are other ways you can use to contact Sky if you can get registered with them:

I didn't cancel my services, BT did everything for me. Now I'm stuck because if I'm not connected to either then I dont have any tv at all as previous tenants in my property cut the main tv aerial cable outside. I'm also in debt with BT as they didn't take payments on dates that they said they would and to b honest they are actually causing my anxiety to b triggered and I'm having panic attacks every time I speak to them. I need some kind of tv and internet for both myself and my 4 year old daughter

I feel like I've been lied to by BT but then Sky keeps sending me letters saying they want me to come back to them and that gives me hope but I'm not good at sorting these things out by myself

Note that BT wouldn't (and couldn't) have cancelled Sky television service: they only do a broadband switch even when the order for BT services includes BT TV. This might explain where a debt to Sky has built up, because a Sky television subscription continues until the subscriber themselves cancels it.

Sky might be willing to write off part of what you owe if you re-sign with them, but you'll have to speak to them direct to see if they will - use the contact details in the letter(s) they sent.
However, do be aware that if you cancel your BT services, and you're in contract as I imagine you are, there will almost certainly be termination charges to add to what you already owe them. They might be substantial if you only recently switched to BT from Sky. For what it's worth, you would probably be better off sorting out the overdue amount with BT and sticking with them until your contract ends.

You may be on stronger grounds to cancel with BT without penalty if they told you something like ' we'll sort everything out for you ' without mentioning that this only applies to broadband and not television.
