I have been told I can end my Contact can due to price increase

I have been offered a better service and told that I can end my Contact can due to price increase

If you mean the annual price increase effective from 1 April you could, but it was only available penalty free within 30 days of the letter or email you were sent so you're way outside that timeframe now.

If you are in a contract then you might not be able to leave but as always it is worth calling Sky to see what they say but don't be surprised if they make you see your contract out.
